Robert S. Attia, D.M.D began his dental education at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry, after graduating Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology. He received the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons dental student award for outstanding achievement and performance in undergraduate oral surgery. Dr. Attia continued his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University. During Dr. Attia’s training at Emory, he completed rotations in anesthesia, surgical critical care, emergency medicine, trauma surgery, otolaryngology, and plastic surgery. In addition to being chosen as administrative chief resident, he co-authored textbook chapters and participated in multiple advanced courses in craniomaxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery, and maxillofacial reconstruction.
